[Milsurplus] AN/BRD-6 DF set info?

Any of you guys have any info on the AN/BRD-6 DF set?
It was evidently used aboard subs and also on board USS Pueblo.
Antenna is AS-1907/BRD-6 and the receiver/indicator is R-1406/BRD-6

One NSN listing says the antenna was for 0.250 to 550 MHz
Another NSN listing says the receiver was 250 to 550 kHz

One of those (or both) has to be wrong.
FWIW, the antenna dome says crated size is approx 4'x3'x3'
