May I suggest recon'ing the speaker , if the voice coil is not damged?

If you aren't concerned about authenticity and don't mind an imported replacement,  an auto scrapyard or a place that does store and office sound systems are great sources.  Add some polyester "wool" to damp the resonances of the box, at it will sound quite good as a communications speaker.
If authenticity is important, getting the original reconed if it is still there, or finding as close a replacement as possible from entertainment radio collectors is a good possibility.
