I have a small cast iron metal box labelled: "Admiralty Pattern A183

         Board, Changeover

                 V/Q

           Year  1944

                                                          Made by 
Sparton of Canada Ltd

Contains 4 telephone type switches, two variable pots marked "Q" and "AVC"

and four  telephone type input jacks. Can anyone i.d.?
