[Milsurplus] Ebay sell policies

My friend sent me a link to an Ebay offering of a boosted-power CB radio; he wondered how such an item could be sold.
I don't know either. The power is not at an insane level, the ad says 40-50 watt PEP. I thought I'd be ornery so I used the
"Report Item" link on the page. You can not explain in your own words, you have to select from their categories and reasons;
the one I selected said something like "CB Amplifier". They also will not tell you the result of their "investigation", such as it
is. Some years back, more than a decade, I complained about an imported "Cordless Phone" which had a claimed range of
several miles. All I got for that was flames. I have some WW2 Nazi medals, my father's WW2 bring-back souvenirs from his
U.S. Army service 1942-1945, and I can't sell them on Ebay due to their rules. Fine, if they want to be persnickety about that,
but at least be consistently persnickety about rules, that's the way I feel.
Maybe for me it's partly case of the "powerless striking back". I just the other day read a couple detailed articles on Facebook
and Google data gathering. Did you know, if you merely read a New York Times article online, and that page has a FB link or
a Google ad, your reading of that article is filed away in your data profile ? That "your friend Google" stores magnitudes more
data about you than FB ? Magnitudes !
