[Milsurplus] MAB and "Bag 1942"

Anyone here familiar enough with U.S. WW2 Navy - Marines radio model "MAB", and WW2 "musette bag"
and "paratrooper bag" , to know whether the naked MAB will fit into such bag, with or without the antenna
post stuck in beside it ?
Reason I ask, is that as with many WW2 sets, the accessory items to the radio, including bags, are harder to find,
sometimes impossible.
Fair Radio for some years after their MAB stock was expended, had the bags alone for sale, for some minimal
pre collector world price. The bag was called in their catalog, "BAG 1942". I thought I had bought some, but I
so far cannot find them, so maybe I'm mistaken.
thanks- Hue
