In cleaning up I found a cable that I got at a hamfest years ago to get
the connectors off of for projects.
The cable is still intact.
It is Raytheon part number 468911-1 which crosses to nsn 6625-00-884-4246.
The nsn was assigned January 1, 1962.
On one end of the cable (test equipment end) is a shrouded Amphenol
connector.
The connector is rectangular wit thw coax pins, places for two large
signal pins and 17 small signal pins.
Only the two coax and 5 of the small signal pins are installed.
On the equipment end are four connectors, a type N female, a type N
male, a PJ-068 and a PJ-055B.
This makes me think that it is a test cable for a piece of VHF or UHF
communications gear of 1962 vintage.
The test set possibly had power and SWR measuring capabilities as well
as microphone audio generation and audio output measuring capabilities.
The cable is about 4 feet long.
The connectors are labeled: P103 for the Amphenol connector, J511 for
the N female, P511 for the N Male, P512 for the PJ-055B and P513 for the
PJ-068.
Any ideas as to what equipment this is for?
Anyone need it before I use it for the RF cable (RG-142/U) and audio
connectors and cable?
I can take pictures and send them to someone that is interested.
The Amphenol connector has no markings to identify it.
I have been unsuccessful in finding the connector after many searches.
