[Milsurplus] China electronics prices

Hi

Technically that’s correct. They do run at a loss and that is guaranteed
by the credit of the US Government. Every so often there is some sort
of “bail out” done to cancel the debt. It’s political sleight of hand.

The same magic treaty process that makes China to the US cheap also
made US <-> Europe really expensive several years back. It’s an interesting
process. There’s a balance between all of the various postal authorities
going broke and encouraging trade. Not a simple sort of thing to manage.

If only we could send connectors by email :)
