An RCA made CRV-50193 modulator followed me home. I am looking for manual or schematic. There seems to be conflicting info on the internet. Apparently the CRV-50193 & associated speech amp were used with a TBK transmitter therefore making it a TBM. Or, am I just confusing the info? The RCA modulator and the Westinghouse modulator look nothing alike.
Here's what Navships 900,109 has to say:
CRV-50193 MODULATOR UNIT
CLASS "B" M0DULATOR. OUTPUT OF 250 WATTS
FOR PLATE MODULATING TO 100% TBK SERIES
WHEN OPERATED AT 1/2 POWER. PUSH PULL.
DRIVEN BY 50055 SPEECH AMPLIFIER. INPUT
1500 VOLTS AT 300MA AND 115/l/60.
FOR USE WITH TBK SERIES
There is a picture here: .http://ussindyradio.org/5225ontherack30s.jpg
the CRV-50193 mod unit is on the bottom left, the speech amp is sitting on top of it.
