If I recall correctly, the MN was a 30-40Mc FM radio. There were(maybe
still are) some frequencies assigned to broadcast station remote pickup
usage around 26Mc.

There was a conversion article in one of the NAB (National Association
of Broadcasters) Engineering handbooks in the 1950s about converting
BC-603 and BC-683 equipment to RPU usage. The last step was to paint
the cases in some other color.
