“Instruments of darkness” is a very interesting read! I can’t imagine the professors et al at Cambridge having a pile of radar equipment dumped on their bench after a raid when it was literally chopped out with an axe and being asked “what does this do and how does it work?”. I’ve known one person in my life who could look at a schematic and not only tell you what it did but how it did it! How they did that without a schematic is just mind boggling!
