What's with German Wehrmacht WW2 radio accessories sold from Hong Kong ? Is there really that big a market for Torn.Fu.d2 antennas ?
The panzer headphones for your cellphone is kind of funny, I can see a few of those selling.
Did someone in Europe get the manufacturing specifications and transmit to the orient for lower-cost manufacturing?

( or, item 222620848644 )

( This is a long, long shot, but - - I am looking for an antenna base for a Torn.FuB1 I have to swap, an antenna base for the Torn.Fu.d2 AND six
antenna sections, all original and excellent condition. )

Some of these people do absolutely superlative restoration work. Like this http://feldfunker-la7sna.com/wehrm_foto.htm#Feldfu.b
I read with interest his comment that he found one of the failure points in a radio he was restoring was likely due to manufacturing sabotage:
"B1 unit was produced in 1944,the most sabotages was going on around the radio factories and other places making war equipments. After deassembling the moving coil,I could see,the break was made, for later giving a faulty operations "
The Reich's factories, of course, had many workers who were not particularly happy with their involuntary employment and its conditions, to say the least, or sharing any interest in the success of their employer. I have read a couple accounts of sabotage in Reich factories.

The same site has this page of very well done replica items for sale. Or, were for sale. I don't know, as he does not answer my emails any more; i don't know if he's out of
the business, or if i have offended him somehow. I have bought from him in the past. If you make an inquiry about buying something and do get a reply, will you please let me know?
I'm glad i did buy a few items i needed when i had the chance, as that opportunity now seems closed, at least to me.
