Really don't know, Hue.  I haven't tried to use the set on CW.
It works well on phone and I do check-into local AM nets with it.
Don't think it would be very satisfactory as a CW rig in this
configuration.  With an external, calibrated receiver and
calibrated signal source, it would be possible to net the
BFO correctly with the RF stages.  For my casual listening,
I narrow a known carrier with regeneration, then zero-beat
the BFO with that.  Good enough for casual listening but
don't know how well that will work for CW.
