WWII RAF R1155 "Lancaster" Receiver:
Until more bits and pieces show-up, I'm
"tying the ribbons" on the R1155. Had an extra
RME speaker so I mounted the receiver on top
(Felt and Velcro. No drilling).
Built the power supply and speaker amp on a
small chassis and mounted it in the speaker box.
135V B+ sounds excellent. I am awaiting a tiny
little DC-DC inverter that will take rectified filament
voltage up near 200V so I can feed it to the eye-tube.
Thing is about the size of a postage stamp.
Next thing on the bench is a check-refurb of
the GF/RU set, then getting started on the ATD.
