Well, it looks as though that not only was the modulator removed and discarded, but also the 
calibrator circuitry.

I have lots of reverse-engineering to do....and cleaning...

As I mentioned earlier, the first thing I intend to do after I have cleaned it up is to remove the 
HUGE power supply, check it out, and draw up a schematic.

So far, I see that it has 4 ea 866A MV rectifiers and at least one 5U4 or 5R4 mounted on the 
power supply chassis.

The HV power transformer is....um...."rather large"...as can be seen in one of the photos I've 
posted.

I also found a toggle switch installed on the final amp chassis just inside the front main door. I 
don't know what that is for yet.
