That is so interesting, that you know the provenance of this unit. I think that escalates its collector interest, even if that doesn't translate into dollars.
So you are actually the 3rd owner, after the Navy, then W7PVF.

So, I am going to have to do some "reverse engineering" on this transmitter.

Furthermore, using your info, I found that Neil was very active in RTTY for many years.

I now suspect that this transmitter was entire his work.
