I have a parts unit for anyone who wants it.

This is the 7-27 Mc receiver from the RAX-1, and

it is either a major restoration project, or a parts radio.  I acquired

it as a parts radio, but another one showed up, so this one is extra.

It has been modified, there are some extra holes in the chassis

for RCA and BNC connectors, and is painted a yucky pale green,

some of which has flaked off, taking the underlying black paint with it.

BUT,  on the plus side,

The dog house on the rear of the receiver is still present.

Usually this gets chiseled out to make room for an AC supply.

So it is a possible donor chassis. The only electronic

component I see missing is the audio output transformer.

Other than the missing transformer, it looks like it could be made

to play as it is, ugly as it may be.

All I want for it is postage. It weighs close to 20 pounds so take

that into consideration.
