What surprised me is the tuning scales are marked in guess what, meters! I know that Russian civilian radios were marked in meters, a nice old timey affectation, i felt, from
having seen a trade expo display of some around 1970. But i'm surprised to see any military receiver calibrated this way. Apparently its usage overrode the military standard
of readout in kHz, MHz.
