I seem to recollect that a few decades back, Fair Radio had some "Viz" ( manufacturer ) radiosondes. Is my memory true?
Anyway, anyone seen a schematic for the same? Did the set possibly have a military type number also?
I have one, with a calibration paper tape of some kind. I like the looks and feel of the flimsy milk-white plastic assembly.
I kind of am mystified how well the cardboard section just below the RF electronics dome, could last in bad weather.
I would like to try to power the thing up.

BTW, what was the WW2 Army radiosonde that used a single 3A5 tube and a 3395 kHz crystal and no tuned output circuit?
I know Robert ( Answer Man ) identified this years ago for me, but i have quite forgotten.
I have only the small chassis of this thing. I wonder what the package looked like. I recall that in the early 1960s, surplus
stores had bunches of these.
Well, i suppose they had bunches of everything in those days.
