[Milsurplus] VT-191 for Homebrew?

Around year 2000 A.D. i had a tray box of 30 new of this tube. I was first thinking how cool it would be to build something, 
like maybe an audio amp, with a couple of this tube lighted up and playing away. But finally i just gave them to a guy who
always has a tube selling thing at all the Pac Northwest hamfests. I don't have any idea what he did with them and i felt i'd
gotten many good deals already from him - - non-rare receiving tubes he sells for $2, new or used. 
BTW, this level of tube seller could write a book about his experiences.
