Thanks a bunch for all the great replies on this.
When I posted it I was just wondering if it was
as unusual as I thought it was.
Now after all the great input and some more searching
I think it must be fairly rare.

I've been collecting for just over 47 years and have
attended lots of radio meets and hamfests in that time.
I really like paper items so I look at most that I
run across. In all that time I've never seen another ROIF.
I don't really collect military gear though I do have a few
pieces, I mainly collect 20s broadcast gear and vintage vacuum tubs, but when I first spotted this
When I spotted this thing at the CC-AWA Fall swap meet about 10 or 12 years
ago I knew I wanted it.

If there's anyone in the groups that would like to
add it to their military collection I would be interested
in reading any serious offers, trades of interesting vintage tubes
would be considered.
You're welcome to reply to me directly to my email address,
w4ron at carolina.rr.com

I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
Take care.

I've had this one about 10 years but haven't seen it for 4 or 5 years after it got misplaced, It found it about 4am this morning while looking for something else. This is just about perfect, it's just missing one of the screw posts that hold it together. It has lots of neat photos of planes and radio gear. If even came with an original though slightly moth nibbled WWII US Army Air Corps Radio Operator Technician Patch.
