Fair Radio had stacks of gutted ARR-41 in the back warehouse, all were missing the dynamotor decks and various other parts but thought I saw at least one or maybe two IF assemblies. They don't list them on their web page or anywhere but I did see them there so unless they have been sold they may still have one, the trick is getting them to go look. That or do like many other and hit Fair Radio on Thursday before Dayton.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Want to buy, long shot items
I'm looking for the following items,
all long shots, never see them on eBay or at hamfests.
1. Maintenance manual for the AN/ARQ-1 set. I have the operators manual which is AN 08-30ARQ1-2, so I'm thinking I need the -3 manual.
2. Maintenance manual for the AN/ARC-45.
I'm pretty sure the manual number is
TM-11-5821-229-35. I already have the -12.
There might be a TM-11-xxx under the old manual numbering system.
I did find some technical info on the net which will get me started on making the set operational, but that info doesn't answer all the questions I have.
3. IF amplifier module from the R-648/ARR-41 receiver.
Even one that has missing mechanical filters will be a big help.
4. Lastly, I'd like to find the test set for the Russian R-800 VHF set. This is the set that is sometimes called the "Russian SCR-522", as it uses the same style channel change mechanism, and basic layout, but is a bit more modern.
Speaking of the R-800, I do have the manual for it, and have made some scans of various pages of the manual. If anyone needs technical information towards getting a set running, let me know what you need.
Thanks
Jack Antonio
