Well, look at the upside. You thinned out the supply, so the survivors are more collectible. Maybe the supply vs demand was getting in order.
I recall a basement full of crated MN-26's in West Seattle where I used to be invited to shop. The hours and appointment dates were both
limited and the MN-26s, TA-12 PS's and other such gear was last priority. Finally the widow passed away and I'm sure all that stuff went to
the dump. I still feel a lot of regret I never had the opportunity to investigate fully what was in all those crates.
I have the AR-2 in the transit case also. Interesting pair but I don't know if I will pursue fixing them. I tend to like trans-receivers, one box
things, more. I was looking at the Navy MBM and realized I got a whole lot more thrill mileage out of that thing than I do a lot bigger
units.

>hat's because I had about 10 nice TA-12Gs and nobody wanted to pay even
$100 for one. Real shame but the roller inductors and capacitors are worth
a good bit more. Saved a pair in the hopes of putting one on the air
someday. I have the dynamotor/modulators and connectors too. Anyway, I had an AT-12 as well, so knew the visual difference. Really nice transmitter, but it had been badly hacked beyond restoration when I got it. I think it would have been fun trying to put one on the air. E\
