One of our members, kinder to me than I deserve, sent some
nice cables that will help with projects. However, there is one
cable in the lot that is a mystery to me. It is in the style of 1930s
to WWII cables like the PL-61 and PL-64. This cable is like the
BC-191/375's PL-59 and has only one contact, so is likely
High Voltage, but the connectors are much larger: 1.5 inch diam.
Mike H. thinks it might be for early radar. Nothing here uses it,
so wanted to spread the kindness done me and pass it along
to whomever might actually use it (not put it in the "will get around
to it" box that the grandkids will throw in the dump).
Photo attached. Anyone have a clue?
