[Milsurplus] AM broadcast group ?

Do any of the list members know of an AM radio group? I'm trying to identify an RCA transformer; # 901765-501 The nomenclature tag states that it is a modulator class with a 5500 primary and 5500 secondary. Google turns up nothing definitive.
