I had seriously thought about using 1/2" mahogany, carefully stained and finished, for the 
cabinet. To me, the transmitter is a real beauty. :-)

Yes. I agree. But having all that HV out in the open might be a problem for visitors. (Ha ha!)

Tell you what, I'll keep a careful record of the work necessary in getting my TCM-2 in 
operation, and will post it to my website. That way, the two of us can collaborate on our 
separate projects. What do you think of this?

I'll post that to http://www.w7ekb.com/Personal/TCM-2 as soon as I get it set up.

BTW, your TCU would be very useful for use on our "new" MF band at 630 meters.

Just think: if you could find the control box and the HV switch, you'd have a complete TCN! :-)
