My TCM-2 manual is also the preliminary one. In format and the binder it looks like a typical Navy manual of the period.
I'm working on my TCM-2 (which came with the original power supply) to restore the connectors in the back on both the transmitter and power supply to the originals (I found the identical connectors to the originals on a stripped BC-191 carcass). A previous owner replaced the connectors with 6 pin tube sockets (why, oh why!). The transmitter, according to a card stuck to the back was used on MARS. I had to trace all the wires to the connectors to identify them and connect them to the appropriate pins on the correct connectors. I just have to make up the interconnect cables (I have the appropriate plugs) and will put it on the air.
