The IMR54/Eddystone 700 is another heavyweight marine receiver and
weighs about 135 pounds. It's also big- about 27 inches wide and 15
tall, it makes an RBC look small. Was there a table top version or
original Marconi cabinet for the Atalantia? All the photos I have seen
of them are in racks or bare chassis on benches. It looks like a neat
and capable receiver. One thing different from the RBB/RBC and maybe
RAK/RAL is the Eddystone and Marconi will both work on 120 volts DC
making battery backup much easier.
