[Milsurplus] [ARC5] Differences between groups

Don't know myself but have always assumed that the ARC-5 list is for the Hard Core command set people, the kind that will argue over types of screws used on a spefic model run and the like. Milsurplus is more concerned with all types of military radio equipment including not only limited to its restoration but also sale, use and modifications.
That being said there are always group dynamics that often lead to generation of new groups like MRCA where we tend to be more operational inclined or specific groups like the R-1051 email reflector for a spefic family of radios but Milsurplus is one of the oldest groups that can trace its linage back to before the modern web browsers and easy email of today. At one time it was distributed by floppy disks thru the mail!

There are many, many subjects which interest people
of both lists; i.e. aircraft sets other than ARC-5,
restoration techniques common to all military sets etc.
Fortunately, every computer has a DELETE
key, which solves problems for those without such
cross-field intererests in less than a second.
