Well, they didn’t make it easy, did they? But – “real radios have meters”. You can’t feel like a professional without a meter/ gauge to look at.
I like to think about the half tracks the Germans captured at Kaserine Pass in North Africa. It must have been quite a revelation for them, this robust but
simple to operate, and high powered radio.
