Had the BC-9 on for Novice Rig Roundup tonight
and worked Arizona and Pennsylvania along
with Texas, breaking 1,000 miles for this
little wonder.
Got a few "QRZ? AB?" replies from 9-land.

I've found that, with the 100 uH Radio Shack RF
choke, the tank-and-loop and the Triode-
Connected 6AQ5, the transmit offset is a pleasing
800 Hz +/-. With the copper tubing loop, it's
about 200 Hz. I have to tune the rig to listen
to the lower-frequency side of zero-beat for
them to hear me.

I should mess with it further, but I'm almost
afraid to, LOL. Getting the stuff together
for a decent power supply box.
