[Milsurplus] New MAB

For decades Fair Radio had unused DAV and MAB sets for sale in the sixties and seventies. I bought a complete DAV on 3.155  when I was back in High School (Geekey !) for something like $10 from Fair and think shipping was around $5
I have never seen a picture of a MAB or DAV in military use, unlike the TBY and TBX or the BC-1000 or BC-611

One thing i like about these sales spiels is the history of the Marine units is added on to inflate the narrative. We don't know at all for certain that the MAB was used in later actions,
in fact the BC-611 seems to have been preferable, but the story of all those Marine operations casts a rosier light on the MAB. Maybe someone in Japan or France will go for it.
I'll have to look at mine. They look "unissued" but not NIB.
