I have had no hands-on experience with this process but I do have a degree in chemistry. Fungicides (or MFP) are organic materials. Acetone is cheap & will dissolve most organic materials. I recently used it to remove paint from a coin after the local coin experts were stumped. It is available from Amazon (aka fingernail polish remover) or in pint or quart cans at your local hardware store. Keep it away from the plastic (Bakelite) tube base as it could etch its surface. You can let it soak, then let it air dry. Caution: flammable. And use only in a well ventilated area away from sources of ignition. Good luck!

Is there anyway to remove the WWII fungicide? I want to remove it from
some octal tubes, not equipment.
Tnx es 73,
