I was looking at the manual for the Marconi 730, a 4-valve regenerative receiver tuning 15 - 26,000 kHz, at
http://marconitype730vintagecommunicationsreceiver.itsupportsolutions.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2016/06/Marconi-Type-730-Marine-Communications-Receiver-Service-Manual.pdf
( and many thanks to the person who published that. )

I noticed that the receiver seems to date to 1935, with circuit drawing updates in 1940, after the U.K. was already at war.
Also particularly interesting is the 'Model 763 Buffer', an untuned RF isolation amp, which has a drawing dated 2-1941. I thought it was interesting that this accessory unit was added on much
later and well into the European war.
