[Milsurplus] Speaking of the TBX....

Several years back a friend  Rick W6NIR  had a TBX , a 6 model I believe, and in it with the tuning charts were two folded 8" x 14" sheets of paper that had typed on them headings "Call Signs"  and  "Voice Call Sig's".

The Call Signs sheet has hand written on it  "Copy for TBX"


Some of the ships listed were the Indianapolis ,Lexington, Hornet ,Bunker Hill , Enterprise ,Essex ,Langly...etc. Gave the voice code names and CW code names.

The other sheet with Voice Call Signs gave  calls and what their meaning was . As an example , the call  "Killers" meant "Cruisers"
