Heavens, I wish I had three VT-1s.
That's a couple of grand for tested tubes.
For the tank circuit and link-couple to antenna,
tubes are one Triode-connected 6AQ5 on a bayonet
base for RF and two 01As for audio.
For the loop, three 01As.  The 01A will not
oscillate when using the tank coil and link;
it oscillates easily with the loop.
