[Milsurplus] Solid Stae for VT-1?

G'day all

putting solid state into tube bases e.g. for the ancient UX301 etc has been done before and there are a few nice pistures on the following website (not mine)

Go to the thumbnail pictures to see in great detail how a small PCB was built into the tube base which includes a lamp (!) to simulate the heater...
