As Meir said, the power supply for the transmitter was a separate unit.
There were 8 models of the TCK built, TCK through TCK-7. The model number
determined which of four different power supplies were furnished. The TCK-4
and TCK-6 came with a 110/220 VAC single phase rectifier supply in a cabinet
the same size as the transmitter. The other six models had a single-unit
motor-generator set. Supply voltages for the M-G sets were 115 VDC, 230 VDC or
220/440 VAC 3-phase. Power supply output voltages were 1800, 500, 115 and
12 VDC plus AC for filaments. Output power was 400 Watts (CW) and 100 Watts
(AM). The manual for the TCK series is NAVSHIPS 900,210 (reprint
available).
TCK-4 and -6 were intended for shore station usage and came with an antenna
coupler unit to match the transmitter to 600 ohm balanced line.
