[Milsurplus] ? Earpiece for RS-6 set ?

I bought this Telex small headphone many years ago because I thought it might be able to stand in for the RS-6 earpiece.
It is spec'd at 2000 ohm and intended for 3 models of 1958 - 1959 transistor radios.
So question: how similar to the RS-6 original earpiece?
I think the RS-6 headphone terminates in 2 'pin tips'.  Is the RS-6 earpiece cord heavier though, than the thin cord on this
headphone?  Does the RS-6 earpiece cord plug into the earpiece with a tiny 2-pin connector, or is the cord wired right into
the earpiece?
