It looks like a staged state-side photo.

I wouldn't call the BC-474 "installed" in a vehicle...the hand-cranked generator is mounted on the ground outside the right front seat.  I'd say that the BC-474 is only setting temporarily in the jeep.  If there is any receiving actually taking place, there must be a battery supply to the receiver section.
