thanks Robert . yeah we have an odd bc-639... painted gray and has a plate saying "referbished by the US navy"  wish  it was was green as the ones we used at Luke AFB for vhf tower Com an vhf guard rx..... so out hunt for a green one goes on... also a bc-640 vhf tx... we have one I think CAA... painted rustolum brown with a paint brush... it is ugly!  so looking for a green local one.
