Yes. The missing pin is pin 33. Not used in GN-57, 58, 58A and G-43. In
all other supplies, it is 105 VDC STANDBY. Used when you have only the
receiver on. With the Generators, receiver B+ in STANDBY is supplied by BA-48.
With all other installations, it comes from the supplies.
Too bad that they are all the same CD number. There aren't that many M3A1
Scout Cars still to be restored I don't think. However, any radio collector
who has a BC-223-A or -AX and wants to get them running could use it. As I
think that I said earlier, cable length varies with vehicle. But on the
bench, it usually wouldn't matter much. Three and a half of them should be
worth a DY-88. When I get caught up some, I'll check what I have left in
DY-88's and DY-105's.
I always thought that the shells were brass. But I have seen two or three
that had cracked. However, they definitely are not pot metal. That term
gets used much too loosely in spite of the fact that it is fairly well
defined.
