As I wrote earlier, the PL-149 won't work on the RT-77.  One of the nine 
contacts is replaced by a guide pin hole (same for the PL-150).  The RT-77 
(actually the CD-1086) uses the PL-279 which has all nine contacts.  So if you 
bought them as a connector source for one end of the CD-1086, that was a 
mistake.  Only the connector body is right.  Plus you would also need a cable 
male PL-294 for the power supply end of the CD-1086.
