I wager no one outside the manufacturer's labs saw the high tuning unit. 
Consider this also. The matching receiver would have to be the RAX. That means a large PB class plane, where the transmit job was already being
handled by the GO transmitter. There was no Navy use for the ATD high tuning unit. TB class planes only had a receiver going to 9050, even when 
fitted with a transmitter going to 18 MHz.
