[Milsurplus] GRC-9 receiver nameplate, more

I just noticed TM 11-263, AN/GRC-9A  1956, which is the only manual i have, Fig. 8 shows the receiver with the
smaller, 2-screw nameplate i was talking about. I wonder how my receiver turned up with the small nameplate
gone and the larger, later one kludged on?
