[Milsurplus] FR-114 Digital Frequency Counter

In researching this latest quest think I saw your post from back in 2011, at that time did not know that one day I would want one. Just how these things go. Thought I would put this out there just in case there is another around, or who knows maybe a HP-524?

well...

I had one of those for a long time. I used it and relied on it for a number of years to set adjustable tone boards. Later I used a programmable tone card with a cheap scope to set the adjustable tone cards. My monster counter then began hibernating on the shelf. I made a number of offers to give it away - free - for just the shipping or local pickup. I mentioned it in posts on this list several times. I finally gave up and salvaged some of the parts for other projects and sent some of it to scrap yard. I may still have a few bits and pieces in the junk boxes. If I stumble over them (and recognize them) I can send them along for spares if you get a counter. I wish you wanted one before I 'got rid' of mine. It still worked. I put maybe a dozen units in the space it used to occupy.

Let me know if you get one. I'll set aside any parts I may come up with in my junk boxes. I recently searched for the display tubes for another ham and I fear those are *gone* - couldn't find them. I may have passed them along to somebody earlier and forgotten about it.
