There are a couple of CODAN sites near me at Sandy Hook and Sea Bright NJ. One was causing interference on the 60 meter band.
They are administrated by Rutgers University and contacted the CODAN administrator. The offending frequency was eventually moved. I don't know if was moved because of my complaint. I believe they frequencies were realigned after dedicated CODAN bands were issued as a result of a WARC conference,

Years back when I was in CAP there was a swept interference in the 4 MHz band (which later I identified as CODAN) which I went out to DF. Traced it into northern NJ from NY and while at one DF stop a local cop came over and asked what I was doing. I explained and showed him how I was DFing, which he found interesting and said his uncle was a ham. Well, about half an hour after that the signal, which had been going for weeks steady, stopped. I always wondered about that.
