There are actually a few others out there. Hank Arney imported several of
them years back along with a bunch of R&S EK-07s. My D model is still in
storage in its shipping container down in NC, definitely outside your 30
mile radius, though. :D
Heading down in 2 weeks with W3JN to clear out the two storage units as
well as the floor sweepin's from the garage. Never did get to have my
garage flea market as planned before the move.

Posted a few shots of the B40D earlier this year on AMfone with its SSB
adapter:

Got it in a swap with a friend from the R-390 list who resides in London.
Funny part is, we started the deal last century in the mid-late 1990s and
finally completed it (almost) in 2012. Along with the SSB adapter I got the
shipping cover, remote headset control, and a matching remote audio amp
that wasn't necessarily a Murphy accessory. Still waiting on the matching
speaker, the move to VA interrupted that. Hope to find an original manual
some day.

Just curious, Nick or whomever - is that JP's B40 at Shelby?

Also noticed the clean Globe Scout Deluxe. That had 'Herman' written all
over it!

Great shots, as always. TNX for posting them.

BTW, Jim - the 100 lbs listed on the tag doesn't include the mounting base,
and is a solid 100 without it. Almost makes a 32V feel light in comparison.
