Tag says that the B40 only weighs 100 pounds! Got to appreciate the stiffness of that plywood table top; it is holding up well. Below your B-40 is what looks to be an EH Scott receiver but the chrome looks a bit ragged. Better photo is column 1, 24 down.
Yes, Nick has a knack for finding hamfests with a good variety of quality boatanchors. The last couple of hamfest photo essays have been way above average! I hope I am as lucky at Mena later this week.Jim

Great photos and nice to see so many boatanchors.
The blue unit in column 3, photo 25 with the large vertical dial and large black knob may not be recognizable to US viewers. It's a British Navy receiver, type B40, made by Murphy. Instantly recognizable to me as I once owned one. A good multiband receiver, very heavy, with clunky bandchanging performed by a rotating turret. IIRC, it had a crystal filter of two degrees of sharpness, CW and voice.
