One thing I found very interesting is that in the radio room there are at least 3 ea R-389 VLF 
receivers, and the number of R-390s or R-390As are almost too many to count.

There are 4 in the secure TTY room.

One thing I've always found very interesting is that the entire run of R-389s, something 
under 1000 receivers, were built under an ARMY contract, yet the NAVY is the arm which 
used VLF almost exclusively.

I've never been able to figure that one out.
