[Milsurplus] Modified T-47/ART-13

A lot of list members shun modifications, but
I recently acquired a T-47 with what I thought
is a rather clever one, at least one I've never seen
written up anywhere.

One of the methods to match a typical dipole antenna
is to hang a variable cap external to the transmitter
as the output cap of a pi-net. Which unfortunately
makes the transmitter not fully autotuned.

What the previous owner did was to replace the variometer
behind control D with a 3 section BC style variable and
rewire the output as a pi net. Thus retaining the full
autotune capability.

How well it works is unknown. This transmitter came to me
pretty dirty and weather worn, getting it running may take
more effort than I want to spend, as I already have a working
stock unit, which I'm not going to modify.

I just thought it was an interesting mod that I'd pass on, FWIW.
